About Morbid Sightseeing

In the old days they called it "Grief Tourism": that strange but very strong urge that resides within us to visit the scene of a great tragedy or a site of infamy. From old prisons, asylums and museums to graveyards and death sites, morbid sightseeing allows us to reflect upon our own mortality by studying the lives and deaths of those who came before us. Plus, it's just really fun to go to creepy places!

Please post images from your morbid travels here and please be descriptive with your captions. We're all dying of morbid curiosity!
