Please note: the exhibition and photo showcase have now closed. Whilst you are welcome to continue adding your pictures of the exhibition to the Moore at Kew group these will no longer be entered into the showcase.
ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
Moore at Kew (Kew Gardens, 15 September 2007- 30 March 2008) was a landmark exhibition of monumental works by the internationally acclaimed sculptor Henry Moore.
ABOUT THE PHOTO SHOWCASE
This Flickr group is for your photographs of the sculptures in Kew Gardens, and also for images of natural forms such as seeds, plants, bark and stone. Moore and Landscape and Natural Forms are the two categories for our Photo Showcase.
The group pool will also include photographs of The Big Draw and images of the sculptures taken by our own photographers.
HOW DOES THE SHOWCASE WORK?
Firstly you will need to add your photographs to this group, and make sure they are tagged with either mooreatkew or naturalforms. (Full instructions for adding your photograph to the group). You are welcome to submit up to 10 images. Submissions to the group are moderated so they won't appear immediately - it may take up to a day for your photograph to appear in the group.
The latest 40 images submitted will be featured in the slideshows for each theme on the Kew website - Moore and Landscape and Natural Forms. All of them will be available in the Moore at Kew group pool on Flickr.
Each week we will highlight 10 images that have caught our eye on the showcase home page, updated every Friday afternoon. For each season we will then chose our favourite 20 images - deadlines are Sunday 2 December (Autumn), Sunday 3 February (Winter), Sunday 30 March (Spring). And finally, at the end of the exhibition, we'll chose our favourite 20 pictures overall, and display these as a top 20 showcase.
IMPORTANT: By adding your photo to this group, you are giving Kew permission to display your photo on www.kew.org in connection with the Moore at Kew exhibition. It is important that you read and understand the Moore at Kew Showcase Terms and Conditions.
