Moo Card Tins

view profile

Blue Cockatoo  Pro User  says:

Hi All,

I saw several posts on "carrying cases" for these guys including the Altoids chewing gum containers, which is a cool idea. But I might have found something a bit more easy to customize.

I just came across these this evening:
www.sks-bottle.com/340c/fin7k.html

The 79 mm x 35 mm x 10 mm sized ones sound like they'd be perfect for Moo cards (which are 70mm x 28mm). You could even affix a Moo card to the top of the sliding lid... I'm thinking about getting some to send "packs" to family members for Christmas, but I wouldn't be able to use all 48 if I buy a bag full.

Anyone interested in buying the extras if I get some? I'd give them to you for my cost + shipping cost.

If I get enough people interested, I'll order some...

Anyways, I've found another way of storing the moo cards for the time being - Eclipse Mint!

About using the Eclipse Mints tins to hold Moo cards:

Eclipse is available in the US right? According to Wrigley, it's avail in the US and Australia.

Can any Americans confirm that I can get this in the US?

If so, I'm gonna try to get some for my Moo Cards while I'm in St.Louis in a couple weeks!

Great to find this group. I have been keeping my cards in this mint tin - not perfect as the cards slide around a bit, but I love the look of it.

The small SKS tins would be perfect for business. I am not sure how to attach an image here so will have to add the link:

@Sweet Pea: The Clay Alley tins aren't quite the right proportions, although I'm sure they'll work. The tins from SKS I've been using for moo cards are approx. 3 1/8" x 1 3/8".

I also like these. Found thanks to LeoL30.

My wife saw these Little i mints next to the till in a craft shop at Wroxham Barns, Norfolk, England, UK. They are just the right size for MOO cards. They are in a sale and cost 99p. Not only do they contain mints but a mirror too. I removed the mirror and I'm thinking of painting over the pink colour too!!

Imported and distributed in the UK by:

I am selling the tins with one of your Moo cards on top resin coated. The tins can be silver (as they come) or I paint them black or gold enamel or a color you like. Then I peel part of the Moo card off and attach the Moo card to the top and resin coat it. Custom made for $6.00 includes postage to U.S. addresses. Flickr mail me if interested. Takes time because of the steps but approximately 7-10 days.

I looked around for a while for the right container to hold my moo cards and finally came across these awesome tins that are customizable. You just send them your design and they put it on the tin in vinyl. They ship the tins out within a week! I'm not sure if they'll ship overseas but it won't hurt to check em out. They're sold in bundles of 5 tins so you don't have to worry if you misplace one and they're cheap (even cheaper if you buy bulk). I'm really happy with the quick service, price, and final product . I ordered more for to use as "Thank You" favors for an upcoming event.

I found a great new holder that fits the cards better than the old starbucks and eclipse containers. I liked the old ones but just a bit too small and the edges got damaged a bit. and I had to modify the top of the eclipse so that I could close the top. These are new starbucks containers for chocolate beans found at Target.
