About Monto: 75 Years 75 Images
This group is about the Central Queensland community of Monto.
The Group is loosely based on the Monto 75 Years 75 Images project. but wider participation from interested people is encouraged
75 Years 75 Images is a photographic time capsule of events within the Central Queensland Shire of Monto as seen through the eyes of 50 local photographers.
Following on from and expanding on the “Day in a Life” concept, the “75 Years 75 Images” book project envisions the production of contemporary images made by local photographers that document life and events throughout the Monto shire. A selection from this body of work will then be published alongside historic photographs so as to form a documentary record of then and now.
Residents of the Monto Shire are invited to join up and post their photographs of Monto and surrounds to the group pool
