About Monthly Theme: JOY
New photographs matching the current monthly theme. No competition, no stress, just fun creating photographs for a set theme. Ideal group for members unable to keep up with weekly themes, wanting to explore various angles and interpretations of a theme, people using film.
I created this group because the only other monthly theme groups were either invitation only or were competitive.
Please introduce yourself to the group and suggest themes that could withstand many photographic interpretations over a month.

RULES
* Photos are to be taken within the theme month and to match your interpretation of the current theme. If your interpretation of the theme is not clear, it would be advisable to add your photo to the theme thread with an explanation.
* Photos can be added to the relevant monthly theme thread and/or the group photo pool and there is no limit to the number you can post, although spreading them out so you post no more than 5 a day is considerate of other members.
* Please tag your photos with
"monthlytheme"
"monthlytheme-theme", eg., monthlytheme-blackandwhite
"monthlytheme-mon##", eg., monthlytheme-nov05 * Acceptable sizes for photos added to a theme thread are square, thumbnail, or small with the maximum length of the longest side being no more than 250 pixels.
* Photos will be removed from the group pool or any monthly threads if they are not taken within the theme month, do not match the theme, or haven't been tagged.
HOW TO POST AN IMAGE
1. Select the photo you want to use in your photostream.
2. Click the All Sizes button above the photo.
3. Select the photo size you want from the Available Sizes at the top (square, thumbnail, small, medium, and large or original). Select Square or Thumbnail or Smallonly.
4. Go to box 2 Copy and paste this HTML into your webpage:
5. Copy the contents of the box onto your clipboard.
6. Next go to the discussion in which you want to make your post and go down to the bottom where it says Reply to this topic? paste the code you previously copied into the text box.
