About Monthly Photo Assignment

This group is created to improve our photographic skills and have fun. We are trying to share and learn from each other while trying to challenge ourselves to take better pictures and produce a wider variety of shots.

You can submit photos for comments and discussion under the months assignment thread and talk about them there throughout the month.

Please invite your friends, the more people we have the more ideas we can get to work with. The following URL will link them back here to join up.

Guidelines

1) Each month a new idea or assignment will be posted.

2) In the last week of that month, each person participating will post between 4 and 7 photos clearly relating to that idea or assignment. If it requires an explanation of how it relates to the assignment, then it does not "clearly relate" to the idea.

3) The photos must be taken in that month and all must be "significantly different" from each other.

4) They must be different from other photos used in the past by you and must be of the highest quality you can produce (no submitting things just because you want to have 4 photos, make it count). It is better to have too few photos than spend time posting stuff that you didn't try for.

5) This is for fun so don't take it too seriously.

6) All work must be your own. Don't submit something not created by you. Don't photograph someone else's painting or photo and say it is your work, unless the photo you took shows some clear deviations from the original and those deviations are what makes it fit the assignment.

7) Nudity is fine, just no porn please. There are other groups for that. if you can't tell the difference, then look it up. I'll delete anything that I deem to be "porn".
