great job with the list guys. i appreciate what you have done, and just realized I have a week before my surgery and may be able to get some photos under my straight jacket, uh, i meant belt, before then.
(while i'm flying to and from Kansas City, having pre-surgery tests done, and finishing all the volumns of paperwork that goes with.) should be a piece of nicely frosted chocolate cake with a ton of whipped cream on top.
but, without wanting to disturb my innocent little niece ,MTMomof2, zigzag disturbs me.

yeah, i only got about six pictures done last month. worst. month. for me. ever.
it didn't help that my internet connection has been down most of the last week. SUCK!

Do you find that the scavenger Hunt starts to dictate your life. Last month I had to go for Chinese food. Now looking at the list I will have to go for waffles, visit a farm, maybe the CN Tower, start a fire, break a window and come up with some picture for the rest of the items.

Right. This month I am resolved to do better than May - well, I could hardly do worse. Somehow the month ran away with me, real life impinged, work was busy, home life ditto, and I ended up with nothing, nada, zilch, rien, a big fat zero! So, the only way is up, isn't it?

What's really annoying is that my desk at work faces an entire rack of servers with lovely blue lights on them but, because I work on a secure site, I can't bring my camera in or take a picture of them.
Or take them home and do it there :-)

@ketutar - I think the morning hair can be anyone's head! Your neighbour, your boss, through a strangers bedroom window (although you might get sent to the corner for that one), someone on the bus that forgot to brush their hair... you get to choose. I was brave, I did my own. But later I remembered I had an excellent one of my husband... Had I posted it I think I would have been sent to the corner though.

honestyraindotcom - I can see your photos in the Pool. If you mean the voting Doohickey, it's only updated once a day - overnight (dependant on your timezone) so if you check back 24 hrs after posting they should show up...

none of my photos tagged for the hunt are showing up under the tags and i am only seeing my photos in the pool on my own computer when i am logged into flickr but on my husband's computers i am not showing up in the pool either. i think i am being blocked because i am new to flickr.

If by new you mean within the last day or two then yes. from the FAQ:
Pending Users
Another reason why your photos aren't showing up may be because your account is either marked as pending or Not In Public Site Areas (NIPSA). See here for more information.

it's not that you're not allowed to post to our group - it's just a matter of waiting for to get un-stuck (un-NIPSA) - do a search in our forum for NIPSA, and you'll find a way to speed the process up. i'd do it myself, but it's 1:04AM, and i'm about to pass out.

Amber, I've been almost every colour except blonde :D
um, er - make that between the range of very dark and red - purple once too, but that was because I fell asleep while applying 'dark cherry' - my mum would have taken the scissors to me herself if I would have come home blue or green :D
My brother did it once when I came home with a 2 cm razorcut and an 'interesting' forelock up to my chin - I had an 'interesting' spikey Tintin-like quiff after that :D
Nowadays I only have to make sure the kids approve - and most of the time I do it when they're gone...

I've just seen someone bombarding the full 20 pics one after another in the pool. I'm about three quarters done - planning on going to the Zoo on Sunday to get a few more - hopefully they're a bit more colourful - it looks like my series will be rather 'dark' - and mostly full of kids and animals :D

Nowhere near finished, but ideas for most things.
I have to say I'm loving the 'drip' photos - that category is bringing out the best in people's talents. Good thing I'm not competitive at all (ahem) or I'd be very dispirited about getting something as good myself...
And 'How bizarre' is extremely entertaining.

I found the last two months relatively easy. I am going to have trouble with several of the items this month, though. I would really rather not go to the supermarket (greengrocer for you folks on the other sid eof the pond) to get something pear shaped, but if I have to, I will.

hahaha - I have had the same thought already too Barry - it's just around the corner anyway - I've noticed already that when you tell people "it's for a competition!" they tend to nod understandingly and let you get on with things - next time I have to take pen and paper with me though, to write people's email addresses down, 'cause they always want copies :D

I've got (4) more to get. One I think I got in my batch from Las Vegas. ( I just have to find it).
I could have had a great shot for "Pear Shaped" while in Vegas too, but I didn't have my camera on me that time.
We had breakfast at the "Pharoah's Pheast" in the Luxor, and I had to use the restroom. In the stall, was a pear sitting on the TP dispenser. (Twilight Zone theme plays)
It would figure, the one day I didn't have a camera connected to my person, that shot would show up.
