About Montgat
Un antiguo poblado ibérico, situado en la cima de la colina es el que da nombre a esta población, trasladándonos así al orígen de uno de los primeros núcleos conocidos como Montgat. Desde allí se observan las magníficas vistas que ofrece el litoral de Barcelona y del Maresme, y en las noches de luna llena, se convierte en un mirador excepcional que da pleno sentido al nombre que recibió de los antiguos romanos " Promontorium Lunarium".

An old Iberian town, located in the top of the hill is the one that gives name to this village, bringing us back to the origin of one of the first population nucleus known as Montgat. From there can be seen the magnificent views that the coast of Barcelona and Maresme offer and in full moon nights it becomes an exceptional viewpoint that gives full meaning to the name once received from the old Romans Promontorium Lunarium.
