About Monoprints

Welcome, printmakers!

Monoprints are traditional prints in which some element is varied. For example, monoprints can be woodblock prints or etchings which are hand colored. There are other techniques. However, monoprints must have some element which is the same in each print.

Post your monoprints here, ideally several of the variants so that viewers can see the variations in your technique.

Monotypes, while also a worthy art in which no element is repeated, created for example by sketching directly into ink on a plate, should not be posted here. Nor should single prints.
