About Monoliths
Looking for monoliths or monolithic objects from around the world. When posting, please tell us where the monolith was found.
Pillar of rock: a tall block of solid stone standing by itself, whether a natural rock feature or a stone column shaped and erected by somebody, e.g. as a monument.
Something large and immovable: something massive and unchanging, especially a large and long-established organization that is slow to change, uniform in character, and difficult to deal with on a human level.
Large block of building material: a large uniform block of a single building material such as concrete pieced together with others to form a building or other structure.
