Group Rules

In order to maintain the high photographic quality of the group and keep the group true to its vision, some of your images may not be included. Please don't be offended or take this personally, just try again with a different image. Thank-you for posting to Monochromatic Visions. We ask that you note the following few simple rules:

Images must be monochromatic. This includes images that have been toned (e.g. sepia, selenium, gold, etc.) in a manner similar to traditional film-based techniques. Appropriate and measured use of selective colour is acceptable.

Images must have a title (or simply be labeled as untitled). Images with filenames such as IMG_01, DSCxxx, etc. will not be admitted to the group pool.

Do not post and run, we expect our contributors to view and comment on the other images in the group.

Please follow flickr's basic rules and be courteous in your comments. The administrators will remove people from the group who persistently fail to follow the group's or flickr's rules.

The following will not be admitted to the group pool:

• Colour photography
• Nudity or images the administrators consider to be pornographic or otherwise inappropriate
• Photographs of pets and other domestic animals (including farm animals)
• Photographs of young children
• Photographs that the administrators consider to be of poor artistic quality or that don't match the group's vision
• Photographs that the administrators consider to be of poor technical quality
