About Mongol Rally 2009

The Mongol Rally charity fund-raising car rally, wherein hideously inappropriate vehicles are driven, dragged, and shoved from Western Europe overland to Mongolia.

This year there are over 400 teams. The vehicles need to be less than 10 years old (in a new rule intended to improve the quality of the vehicles being donated in Mongolia) and should be of less than 1.2 litres capacity.

The event is run by The Adventurists, based in Bristol, UK (though each team operates independently).
