About Mommy Photographers

A group for women who love photography and who have families. Mom photographers are most often amateurs who are self-taught, and who don't always have the latest photographic equipment (or even a DSLR). We find ourselves doing the click and run while chasing toddlers, or taking photographs around our family's schedule and needs. This means no 5 am set ups or long afternoons spent pursuing that perfect shot. It means no exotic locations, no paid models, and sometimes bright overhead noontime sun. It means taking what little free time we have and enjoying the challenge of learning more and creating photographs we love and improving our photography skills.This is not the place for elitist artistic professional photographers, although you never know when one of us will blossom into full-time photography!
