This is the official (e.g. run by Matador Records but being added to by Mogwai) Flickr group for Mogwai's US tour which starts on March 1, 2006 in Chicago. You can add your photos to this group. You must tag your photos with "tour0 fan" to show up on the google mash-up at mr.beastmap.com. Then, you can also tag them with the appropriate tour stop (e.g. "chicago") and they will be approved and published to mr.beastmap.com.

You can also email them in by sending them as an attachment to delve11dour@photos.flickr.com.

For those of you not familiar with Mogwai - they are a Scottish five piece band that formed in 1995. They've since gone on to develop their distinctive style of apocalyptic, yet deeply humanised noise across four albums, establishing the transcendentally effective quiet-loud/quiet-loud dynamic as their very own and spawning a generation of imitators.

Known as an amazing live band, we hope your photos help share the experience with those not quite lucky enough to have seen Mogwai in action. They are also a group of geeks attracted to technology - often just as likely to be typing away an email before a show as they are tuning their guitar. So, the mash-up is a perfect reflection of the band themselves and the fans they attract.

Their brand new album, "Mr Beast", is the band's fifth studio album and, as the title suggests, sees them returning to their first, true love - Rock with a capital "R".
