About Moggill
As part of a Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and the Australasian CRC for Interaction Design (ACID) research project, we have installed a digital noticeboard called Nnub at the Moggill General Store.
In short, people can create notices on the Web at moggill.nnub.net and they are fed to the noticeboard at Moggill. The noticeboard is touch enabled and people can also create notices by drawing or writing directly on the noticeboard.
We pull images from Flickr using the Flick Application Programming Interface (API). In the case of Moggill, we pull anything that is tagged as ‘Moggill’ and is publicly available.
Photos added to this group pool (Nnub Moggill) are fed to Nnub. We can also pull particular Flickr groups that may have content that is relevant to the Moggill community.
We have found people love to view images on the noticeboard so it’s a great way to get your photos out to a wider audience.
Nnub credits photos with your Flickr username and a link back to your Flickr photostream.
If you have any suggestions or feedback please add them to the discussion or email info@nnub.net.
Please see nnub.net for a recent listing of Nnub locations.
