About Modified Origami & Paper Craft

While "origami" can be defined in different ways, most people who are serious about origami would agree that it's a paper-only affair. While I love the challenge of creating anything under the sun with only papers, I sometimes throw the rules out when I feel like they get in the way of my creativity.

This group is for people who like to mash-up traditional origami with "taboo" techniques... scissors, glue, tape, thread and more - oh my! If you like to compose more than one origami work together or use alternative or unusual folding materials, then this is the place for you!
