About Modern Portraits (and Self-Portraits)
Portraits that avoid cliches...... modern, art photography style.... fresh, cool and ...well, modern ! I am thinking likenesses rather than fantasy images. So that the photo looks like the subject.

MORE RULES...... Clones are fine as long as the figures adhere to these rules. Most of the time, those in the pool will give you a good idea what is wanted, if we have managed to keep up with our moderating. This pool will be heavily moderated to adhere to this vision.

Please do not be disappointed if myself or one of the other admins or moderators remove your photo from the pool , I have a particular vision or the group and I want it to be like an art photography gallery. There are loads of other portrait groups, post em there...
It doesn't mean we don't like the photo just that we don't think it fits the group and the other photos in it. :) Might be a too traditional pose, lighting too studioish or a blurry vignette or just a feeling. Whatever, we still love ya !
