About Minnesota Blue Green Alliance

n Minnesota, the Blue Green Alliance is working to create tens of thousands of green jobs. Minnesota is well positioned to create tens of thousands of both service and manufacturing jobs in clean, renewable energy. With a global warming and recession bearing down the nation and Minnesota, Governor Pawlenty should be working to put Minnesotans back to work solving global warming. That is why the Blue Green Alliance is reaching out to leaders in labor, business, and the community.

In less than a month, hundreds of Minnesotans have joined the campaign demanding a Green Jobs Plan for Minnesota. The Blue Green Alliance is also working with Mayor Rybak and Mayor Coleman to create thousands of green manufacturing jobs in Minneapolis Saint Paul. We recently released the Mayors Green Manufacturing Initiative’s Making It Green report detailing strategies for attracting green manufacturing to Minneapolis Saint Paul. Throughout the summer and into the fall, the Blue Green Alliance will reach out to Minnesotans at festivals, train activists, rally supporters, and build a powerful coalition.
