do you have a child between the ages of 6 and 9? i could use their help (yours too!)

i'm a graduate design student testing out a project for my product workshop. i'm looking for kids between the ages of 6-9 to complete two "missions". the missions are pretty simple and can be completed with a photograph, collage, drawing or clay-building. whatever the child chooses to best tell their story.

they will likely need assistance from an adult to understand the mission and report back the findings. i'm hoping you can post the accomplished missions to your flickr (and adding to the pool), but you can also email them directly to me.

below is a description of my project. its not a real service (yet) so there is no membership, kit, fees. by adding completed missions to this flickr pool you'll be helping me test out whether the project is on the right track.

SO, if you are interested in helping out, see the two missions i've added as discussion items. have your kid do one or both of the missions and then email or post the submissions to the group!

photos of your kids completing the missions are also encouraged and appreciated.

mission-is-possible inspires children to explore, learn and interact with other kids who have similar interests. Based on geographic location and interests -- captured in each childs' profile -- they are assigned to missions that they will complete either individually or with an online team of spy-kids.

The missions are all tracked through a Web site, but the missions themselves may have the kids searching online, building objects with clay, or exploring the real world to take photos of items that help accomplish the task. The Web site is a secure online community only for kids.

An inexpensive membership to the Web site and a spy kit are needed to participate. The basic spy kit gives kids a unique ID card and a few simple supplies to help accomplish their missions. The deluxe kit includes a 2 mega-pixel digital spy camera and a mission monitor. The mission monitor is a wireless internet device that notifies the child of the latest news from their online community, even when the computer is turned off! They'll know when a new mission is waiting for them, or when one of their spy-friends has sent them a message.
