This Group showcases photographs of US Airways flight 1549 that crash landed on the Hudson River, NYC/NJ, on January 15, 2009. This flight took off from La Guardia Airport, Queens, NY, at about 3:28 p.m., en route to Charlotte, North Carolina. Moments later, the plane developed difficulties (believed to be caused by a collision with a flock of Canadian Geese) and the pilot crash landed it into the Hudson River. All 155 passengers. Thank God. The pilot is a hero.
