About MinorUrbanDisasters
MinorUrbanDisasters has been collecting and documenting minor urban disasters since 2003.
It started off with a typology of lost gloves during a cold and dark winter in Stockholm, Sweden. Initially started as a personal collection, the project quickly became dependent on the help of friends. And then of friends of friends.
Now the MinorUrbanDisasters pool features wonderful subdivisions such as abandoned christmas trees in Berlin, broken umbrellas from New York City or the most irritating Austalian pub carpets.
Highlights such as fallen and bent over street lights, lamps and sculptures in the form of ice cream cones are also not to be missed.
