About Minolta Manual Focus MACRO
This group is for those who use a manual focus, fixed focal length macro lens on a Minolta 35mm SLR camera. (Digital cameras are also allowed, as long as they made use of an Minolta manual focus macro lens. )
The purpose of this group is to be a place where different PRIME manual focus MACRO lenses can be compared and evaluated, as long as they fit on a Minolta manual focus 35mm camera body.
Though this is a group for MACRO lenses, the pictures do NOT have to be typical macro shots of an insect or flower. Even if you have taken portraits or landscape pictures with your macro, they can be posted here. It is not subject matter that counts, but lens type.
Here are the rules, they're pretty simple:
1. Photos must be taken by a FIXED FOCAL LENGTH macro lens mounted on a Minolta 35mm camera body. The 50mm and 100mm lenses being the most common.
2. No macro ZOOM pictures allowed, this is for "prime" macro lenses only.
3. While Minolta branded macro lenses are prefered, the macro lens can be of any make, including Vivitar, Sigma, Tokina, etc.
3. Please no pornography or pictures in bad taste.
4. Please tag your photos with the lens type, and the Minolta camera body it was mounted on. For exmaple:
Minolta XE-7
Minolta MD Rokkor-X 50mm f3.5 macro
Or you can put this info in the caption field as well, or both places. As long as it's there somewhere...
That's it!
This group is actively moderated.
Posting Limit = 3 photos per day per user.
Thank you.
