About Minimalist Race

Hello everyone, here's a little bit about this group
This group is about Minimalist photos and photographers. meaning, it's for photos with as little objects as possible or pictures taken with minimal equipment. for example,


this picture is "Minimalist" cause there's barely any object in frame. it has enough details to keep it interesting.

is Minimalist cause i took it with very limited equipment.

the goal for this group is to urge young and amature photographers to gain the following:
1- Eye for detail
2- Creativity
3- Get rid of the idea that just cause you don't have the best equipment means all your pictures will be bad.
4- To get better and better with every shot you take.


To make things a little more interesting, we're going to hold a comptetion every now and then on which picture is the most successful in a minimalist way. Awards will be decided soon.


Here are some Rules and guidelines:

1- Landscape photos are not accepted. (too many things to look at)
2- animals are not accepted.
3- you can post TWO photos a day.
4- be CREATIVE. think out of the amature box.
5- NO NUDITY. unless in an artistic form and you wouldn't mind having your 12-year-old looking at it.
6- BE NICE AND CONSTRUCTIVE.

i guess that's it for now. as soon as we get more members, we'll promote those who are fit and able to be admins.
