About _ minimalism
this is a group for pictures about minimalism.
NO: macros, unless you can't tell what it is.
NO: shots of water
NO: long exposure shots/streaks of light
NO: shots of small things
DO: leave the lens cap on
DO: shoot solid color empty walls (no floor or ceiling visible)
DO: reference MINIMALISM on the web, or the book by Phaidon.
generic def: A study of abstract photography that emphasizes extreme simplification of form, as by the use of basic shapes and monochromatic palettes, objectivity, and anonymity of style.
upload one at a time. this allows for more variety in images and users. If you upload more than one, i will delete all except my favorite of that group.
i'm not being elitest, i just wish to stress the discipline it takes to achieve truly beautiful minimalistic photos. they feel larger than life when done beautifully.
