Welcome. The Milkwatch group is a flickr group that collects pictures of various practices of baby milk promotions, in particular the ones violating The International Code of Marketing of Breastmilk Substitutes. Additionally, please see the group scope below.
This group is pro-breastfeeding, and is naturally biased against infant formula. However, we avoid pictures / reportage that is negative / condescending towards the mothers who use infant formula, because we want to be supportive to mothers and do not want to blame them. Instead, we focus as much as possible to the policy, practices, and stuff like corporate marketing.

This group will compile photos and written news / reportage on
1. Breastmilk substitute and infant formula promotion practices, in particular the ones violating the The International Code of Marketing of Breastmilk Substitutes and their respective country codes / regulations.
2. Other practices and advertisements that undermines breastfeeding.
3. Other practices and advertisement that is misleading of breastfeeding and best practices of breastfeeding.
4. The negative impact of formula feeding.

1. This Flickr group is semi-closed, meaning that the discussion and photos can only be viewed by members.
