About Military lorries and soft vehicles
Unarmoured or lightly armoured vehicles used for transport by the military including the air force and the navy. This includes motorcycles, lorries, trucks, artillery towers, tank transporters and anything which is NOT a tank, an armoured car, an armoured personnel carrier or an armoured self-propelled gun.
Vehicles may be armed for self-defence [like an AA machine gun on the roof] or may be lorries converted to carry guns or missiles such as the British Bofors Quad, the British six-pounder Portee, a US Jeep with a 106mm recoiless rifle or a German halftrack towing vehicle converted to carry a 20mm AA gun on the rear deck.
