The Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District is 55,000 acres in 25 open space preserves in the San Francisco Bay Area. It is an amazing resource for hiking, biking, horseback riding, fresh air and incredible 360 degree views.

Bear Creek Redwoods, Coal Creek, El Corte de Madera Creek, El Sereno, Foothills, Fremont Older, La Honda Creek, Long Ridge, Los Trancos, Mill Creek, Monte Bello, Picchetti Ranch, Pulgas Ridge, Purisima Creek Redwoods, Rancho San Antonio, Ravenswood, Russian Ridge, St. Joseph's Hill, Saratoga Gap, Sierra Azul, Skyline Ridge, Steven's Creek Shoreline Nature, Teague Hill, Thornewood, and Windy Hill Preserves.
