About mid-century illustrated
* * *
A place to post *anything* illustrated, from the period spanning 1945-1965.
We're looking for illustrations from sources including, but not limited to, magazines (including advertising), books, packaging, record album covers, etc.
We're not looking for any photography, even printed in mags or books, unless the typography that accompanies it is particularly special.
It's not that we don't love the cool editorial and advertising photography of the time, but our aim is to feature the illustration, graphic layout styles, and typography of the period.
Post as often and as much as you wish!
