About Mid-Century Architecture (Non-Residential)

This group is for photos of interesting buildings and structures from roughly the 1950s-early 1970s. This group is NOT for "retro" buildings which are made to look mid-century or for mid-century houses (there are other groups for both of these things). Apartment buildings are okay. This group is NOT for 1930s & 1940s Art Deco & Streamline Moderne buildings -- there are other groups for them.

Some interiors and details are fine but the focus should be on the buildings themselves. The focus should be on the building -- not the photography. Preference is for full rather than partial shots of the building. Please identify the name of the building and place if possible. Multiple views of a single subject should be kept to two or three images maximum. Photos of boxy buildings devoid of details won't make it into the group even if they were built in the 1950s & 1960s. I reserve the right to remove photos which I feel do not contribute to the spirit of the group. Enjoy!
