This group is mostly for furnishings and interiors — both modernist designs of the late 1940s to early 1970s, and some (very very limited please) current designs specifically inspired by the mid-century modern aesthetic. Contemporary designs that are inspired, or follow a mid-century modern aesthetic will be accepted only at the discretion of the moderators.

Lately there have been too many posts of interiors that are not even remotely related to the Mid Century Modern period. If we delete your posts, it's not because we are mean, or don't think your submission is beautiful, it's because we strive to maintain the historical purity of the group.

Please know your MCM styles and history so we can make this the best MCM interiors group on Flickr.

Some architectural photography may be accepted, but this group's primary interest is interiors. If you are unsure whether your image is right for the group, have a look at this discussion.
