About Michigan Complete Streets

This group was established to share photos and videos of Michigan roadways in need of Complete Streets.

Complete Streets are roadways designed and operated to enable safe, attractive, and comfortable access and travel for all users. Pedestrians, bicyclists, motorists and public transit users of all ages and abilities are able to safely and comfortably move along and across a complete street. Complete Streets also create a sense of place and improve social interaction, while generally improving property adjacent land values.

Please join this group and upload your photos and videos of both complete and incomplete streets throughout Michigan. You are encouraged to add comments that explain the good, bad and ugly of Michigan roadways. Please identify the locations of the photos as specifically as possible in your comments and add geotags to your images so the group can view images on a GIS-based map. This site will serve as a database of information to be used in local, statewide and national policy efforts to complete our streets to make them safe for all users.
