05 Feb 09 - Welcome to Michigan's Copper Empire. This group is for all those photos showing the remnants of a forgotten age when copper was king. Anything to do with the copper mining industry in Michigan's upper peninsula. Whether it's historical photos, current photos of mining relics/infrastructure or towns that grew around the mining industry.
