About Michael Lax

This is a group to showcase items by the designer Michael Lax (1929-1999).

We've always been interested in his work, so we decided to make a Flickr group for photos of his designs. He's well known for his Copco kitchen ware, and also for the Lytegem Lightolier lamps. He worked at one point with Russel Wright and Kaj Franck. He made the amazing Raymor Capri line for Hyalyn, and a line for Iroquois called Primaries. Despite his enormous talent and considerable body of work, there doesn't seem to be a ton of info out there on him.
