About Mexican Folk Art and Inspirations
I love mexican folk art. This is a group to share photos of any and all Mexican folk art including but not limited to Fridas, Oaxaca wood carving, Huichol yarn paintings, Huichol beadwork, Talavera, Zapotec rugs and weaving, ex votos, retablos, milagros, sacred hearts, Our Lady of Guadalupe, Dia De Los Muertos, Catrina, tin work, clay figures, nichos, sugar skulls, calaveras, dioramas, tonala, bateas, olinala painted bows, colchas, Mexican embroidery and textiles, rebozos, nichos.
I expanded my title so all would know that in addition to beautiful authentic Mexican folk art made by Mexicans in Mexico I also welcome any artwork that is inspired by the Mexican Folk Art tradition. Thank you for sharing.
