We asked people to share their vision of places in the MAPC region that represent the MetroFuture themes of: SUSTAINABILITY / COMMUNITY / PROSPERITY / EQUITY

Members of the Judges' Panel included:

Brian Skerry - an award-winning National Geographic Magazine photographer, member of the International League of Conservation Photographers (ILCP) and New England Aquarium Explorer in Residence.

Marilyn Contreas - Massachusetts Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) and Secretary of the Metropolitan Area Planning Council.

Grace S. Shepard - Treasurer, Metropolitan Area Planning Council.

Nathan Fried-Lipski - a Boston-based professional photographer, with extensive experience as a freelance photographer in the arenas of general news, public events and culture.


Winning photographs will be showcased on mapc.org and metrofuture.org, at upcoming MAPC events, in the Regional Record e-newsletter and additional public venues.
