23 Apr 07 - HMC is about the contrasts all around us and how that moment can be captured by the camera. It's about things that really don't belong together but end up together. One of the best places to find these impromptu contrasts is on the street.

If the metaphoric contrast that you've captured is not obvious please explain what it is you see in the photo in the photo's description.

About High Metaphoric Contrast

Photos which show objects or people in contrast to one another.

This group is for photos which have a lot of metaphoric contrast. We want photos that are dripping with irony or pun.

fat/thin
old/young
black/white
alive/dead
awake/asleep
stupid/smart

•Post only pictures you took. ABSOLUTELY NO WEB GRABS.
•Right now you can post as many pictures as you'd like so long as they fit in the theme. Later when the pool gets bigger this may be restricted to 3 or 5 a day. Please try to post pictures which are not all of the same shoot and subject.
•If the metaphor isn’t obvious it would be nice for you to explain yourself.
•Tasteful nudity is a fine thing.
