About The Merry Manual Labourers

Hello Everyone,

This group exists for anyone who wants to work towards improving their skills at making photographs using manual settings on their film or digital cameras. The aim is to share tips, ideas, experiences, and of course, photographs taken using that towering bastion of photography...the dreaded "M" mode! Hopefully, with each other's help, it will all seem less mystifying in due course.

It doesn't matter what equipment you use, so long as you only post photos to this group taken using the manual exposure mode.

For now, there are no limits as to how many photographs you can post, but it would be great if you could tell us a little bit about how you shot each of them (e.g. your thoughts prior to setting up the shot, or what difficulties you encountered, and how you overcame them, or what you'd do differently next time, and so on).

I hope the group discussions will be lively and informative. So roll up your sleeves and let's get manual...!
