21 Aug 07 - Welcome to all fellow patriotic friends and supporters of Malaysia to this Group. A special Selamat Datang ( welcome ) to our honourable Anak Malaysia, Williewonker from Australia. He used to stay in Penang while he was on a stint with RAAF defending our country while in its infancy. He had taken many interesting Malaysian memories-embodied photographs with his family. This group was started to show our love and loyalty to our country. We had come a very long way since 50 years ago.Terima kasih.

About Merdeka Malaysia - Celebrating over 50 Years of NationhoodThis group shall highlight the preparations and celebrations of Merdeka, Malaysia's National Day on 31st, August, 2007 and all Merdeka and Malaysia Day 0n the 16th. September of each year. Photos showing the flying of the Malaysian Flag called Jalur Gemilang shall also be featured in this group. In the celebrations of this 50th. anniversary of our nationhood and every year after 2007, we shall need to reflect on the past sacrifices made by our forefathers from multi-racial, multi-lingual, multi-cultural heritage as we step into the next 50 years. Though we are from different heritage, we have one and the only common future - to progress into a fully developed nation by 2020 peacefully and with great prosperity. One Heart, One Destiny, One Nation. |
