About Melburnian

A unique photography blog showcasing homegrown photography from Melbourne, Australia. With tips and techniques, plus interviews and showcases of local talent, Melburnian will be a daily stop for the Melbourne-based photographer, or visitor, looking to be inspired.

Visitors to our great city may be interested in reading the advice of locals both here, and in the Melbourne group. Event information and news can be found on the main website, listed below.

Now for a few major rules;
1. Photos you add to the pool must be taken in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia and/or its surrounding suburbs. Use the "Melbourne Metropolitan Boundary" as a guide.
2. Photos can be of any format, whether film or digital, all formats are welcome.
3. Add only your very best photos, so we can keep the quality of the pool high. Photos in the pool are also displayed on The Melburnian, so show off with your best!
4. Please tag your photos with the tags "melburnian" and "melbourne".
5. For the sake of less moderation, we also ask that if your photo has no obvious imagery of Melbourne in it, then please title and or describe the photo to help us identify how the image fits into the pool.
