About Melbourne Street Photography
For us, street photography is a sense - it's about photographs made on our feet - in public places.
That's right - not only streets, or lane ways or sidewalks - but in parks, on beaches, in malls, at political conventions or protest marches and a myriad of other settings.
It's often (but not always) simply capturing people going about their everyday lives ... it's a specific form of photographic ethnography and it's a specific style of shooting ... and it can't be defined because mostly, it's a sense.
