About Meet our Flickr kids--READ RULES--1 per kid

If you've recently been booted from the group, it's because you haven't created a discussion thread, and flickr doesn't allow me to let you know why I'm booting you out before you're booted out. :) If you would like to join and participate, please click the "Join this group" link to the right and plead your case. Thanks! -cindiann, your friendly neighborhood group admin

********Change in group rules: You now have to create a discussion thread in order to post photos to the pool. Members who do not post a thread within one week of posting a photo will get a warning; if the situation is not remedied, said member will be booted from the group.********

Members, check here to see whether you've posted a thread.

The purpose of this group is for members to share their favorite photos of their kids* with others on Flickr. Yeah, yeah, another kid group. How is this one different? Read on:

1. One photo per child.
...meaning that if you have two kiddos, you can post two photos to the pool, but you may only post ONE photo of each child. Members posting more than one photo of a child will receive a message from the admin asking that duplicates be deleted. If duplicates aren't deleted, the admin will do it for you. You may swap the photos out for others anytime you like. A great way to keep the pool fresh!

2. The child depicted must be "yours" in some way.
*If you're not a parent, post photos of your nieces, nephews, grandchildren, godchildren, etc. Please, no photos of your kids' friends, your clients, or random children.

3. It's not about the quality of your image, it's about the cuteness of the kid.
We're not looking for the next Anne Geddes here. If you think it's cute, that's good enough.

4. Introduce us to your cuties!
Create a discussion thread for your photos that contains the small version of your photo, then tell us why you've added it to the pool. You may share as many or as few details as you wish. Change in group rules: You now have to create a discussion thread in order to post photos to the pool. You can post the small versions of your photos to your discussion threads. Here's how:

a. view the photo
b. click the "all sizes button"
c. click the "small" version
d. copy the html in the "copy and paste this HTML into your web page" box
e. paste above text into your reply.
f. voila! :)

This is sort of the opposite of other peer-critiquing groups found on flickr--instead of others commenting on your photos and having them remvoed from the group pool, you maintain your own photos in the pool and tell the other members why they're so great!
