Medical London is a pool for pictures relating to disease, healthcare and medicine in the capital. Please submit your pictures of hospital architecture, healthy (and unhealthy) environments, healthcare workers in action, mementos, artefacts, your own medical history and anything else relating to the theme of medicine. Where appropriate, please also geotag your pictures if you can.
The Medical London flickr pool is an extension of Wellcome Collection’s Medical London project. 'Medical London' is a book of essays, a set of maps and a gazetteer and covers the roles played by diseases, treatments and cures in London's sprawling history. The Medical London website contains information about the book, videos about points of interest on the walks contained in the book, and a downloadable audio guided walk around Bloomsbury.
