About Traditional Mediterranean Fishing Boats
You know those little blue and white wooden boats you keep seeing when on holiday? And how they keep popping up in practically every Mediterranean country you visit?
Well these boats all have a common ancestor, they are probably descendants of Phoenician ships used across the Mediterranean 3000 years ago, and together with things like olive tree cultivation are clear examples of the shared culture of the Mediterranean seaboard.
Any pictures showing specifically these little boats are welcome!
PS That means not trawlers, but rowboat or small sailboat size vessels!
