About Middle East Shutter Squad (M.E.S.S.)

GROUP RULES

We do not believe in hierarchy and there is no discrimination here. But, nonetheless, we need guidelines to keep the group healthy.

They are as follows:

1. Since we are part of the Flickr Community. Please follow their generals guidelines which can be found here. We don't want Flickr suddenly deleting our group do we?

2. Be ready to share - The aim of this group is to help others improve their photography.

3. Be free and participate - We encourage everyone to speak up and participate in the discussions. You, being a new member, is as valuable to us as the founders. If you wish to start a new topic, please do so... the other members are eager to hear from you.

4. Administrators and Moderators - are your friends, they do have a major role to play in organizing activities and keeping things in order, so please respect their decisions. If you deem that their actions are a bit out of control, you are requested to ask another administrator.

5. Respect - Treat every member as your equal and respect what he has to say.

If you agree to all of the above (which we don't see why you shouldn't) Please accept our warm Welcome!

10 MESSy Guidelines

1. Shoot with joy. Shoot with passion.
2. Post your shots. See if other people see the same things through your lens.
3. Keep on shooting. You can always shoot alone or with friends. But don’t forget to share.
4. Share your experiences and what you learned. You’ll learn more by sharing.
5. Experiment. Learn from it. Experiment again. Learn again. Don’t stop.
6. Don’t be afraid to ask questions. You will never know that the next person has the answer.
7. Know your tools and remember that it’s the photographer that makes the picture, not the camera.
8. Always have a good time. If it’s not applicable, then go with what you feel.
9. Friends and group mates are always good to have around.
10. Remember that you are only limited by what you can imagine
