McLuhan Festival is flickr public group where people can post pictures, discuss ideas and share insights about Marshall McLuhan, his work and legacy in media, culture and technology and the annual McLuhan International Film Festival (MIFF) in Toronto, Canada.
The topics or ideas of the group include but are not limited to Media, Work, Play, School, Home, People, Events, Culture, Society, Travel, Nature, Environment, Art, Architecture, Ubranism, Design, Photography, Internet, Future, Technology.
You can post pictures in the group pool that relate to the ideas and topics above and others that we haven't thought of yet. The pictures do not have to be just about McLuhan, from the festival or Toronto but anywhere in the global village.
This group is not officially affiliated with the festival, just a bottom-up, community-driven, web 2.0, buzzword-compliant, McLuanesque effort to use the medium to explore and extend the man and his message. Kinda appropriate for flickr, don't you think?
