In kindergarten there were five people named Matthew, or incorrectly spelled derivations thereof. It was difficult for them to keep track of us, a locally scoped complex linguistic naming scheme was invented and imposed on as children.
At university people would call me automatt because I would fix their computers for fun.
On the net you can pick your own name, and I'm fascinated by the names that people select for their avatars.
My online name automatt continues to express my mattness, and so I made this group for other people with mattlike screen names, and to post photos that represent the essential collectively of mattness.
I am using the word mattimalism to represent this concept, but what the word means is up to you and the photos we post together.
