02 Nov 11 - I think I have a bit of a Holy Grail for this place. If anyone has photos they can submit of Kilbowie Park in Clydebank after the Bankies had abandoned it but before it was torn down (so about 1996/97 I'd reckon) I'd be incredibly grateful.

About Match Abandoned: the aesthetics of football and dereliction

This group and the associated pool are for association football-related images that convey, shall we say, a sense of having seen better days that exists deep inside a lot of supporters today. Images of grounds and pitches in disrepair, abandoned worn-out footballs (preferably in unusual places), or other worn-out football memorabilia and minutiae are actively encouraged here.

This group is NOT for having a dig at rival players, clubs or supporters, either in the group pool or discussions.
