As the new moderator for the Backpack New England Group, I'd like invite everyone to join up and add their photos from backpacking trips throughout New England.

One of the original goals of the group was to serve as a resource for those planning hikes by having trip descriptions in the discussions for the group. I like that idea - sort of a personalized guide book for various hikes - so if you would like, feel free to post up your trip descriptions too.

I'm also trying to make up a resource that includes various personal websites and blogs that talk about hiking/climbing/backpacking/skiing, etc. in New England. If you have one, make sure you add it to the list on the discussion board in the Backpack New England group.
