14 Feb 09 - This group has been created to remember & recreate Marysville's history & beauty. Please post or scan any photos you have from Marysville's past. Photos from books, family holidays, shops, buildings, scenic views, waterfalls, etc., past & present but pre Saturday 7th February, 2009 the day of Victoria's devastating bushfires. The Historical society lost all photos & memorobilia, this way we hope to recreate the past. So dig into those old family photos & help us put Marysville back on the map!

About Marysville, Victoria...a portal to the past

This group has been created for people to post or scan all their photos of Marysville, Victoria pre the devastating Victorian bushfires on that sad day, Saturday February 7th, 2009.
It is a group to help create Marysville's history as the town was destroyed, including all of the historical society's photos & information. We are hoping photos of buildings, holidays, sightseeing, scenic views, waterfalls etc. will help recreate it's history for all to share it's beauty, it's beauty of the past.
We ask if you can refrain from including photos of towns people, if possible, as many lives have been lost in the town & it has been a very traumatic time for the residents of Marysville.
