i've been doing a lot of research on this guy over the past few days. very inspiring fellow, particularly being that he is a magnum.
fat people aren't necessarily funny, but multiple fat people in a group tend to be.
j(a fat person ;)

Parr has been a very important person in photographic upbring, alot of time i have gone back to his ideas of the "British" and really injoyed his work, he has aslo shot film i.e. a program that came on tv, it was shot in blackpool and other places like a church fate that was very wet! a very dark place and it was great! i see alot of people posting and i really like there work, but i found it hard to post from my work even after seeing alot of his work and even going to see him speak, i love this group and i hope it will expand alot of peoples ideas of what is a PARR image. much love james

hello there
I'm not really found of groups because most of the time people finally post pictures that don't fit the theme.
I'm glad to have found this one, Martin Parr being such a great photographer, but I feel that more and more images posted don't fit to the group (maybe mine first).
am I the only one feeling that way?

The ones that definitely don't fit are removed fairly quickly but I agree there are others that we need to think about removing when we get time.

I post on my account a snapshot of an installation by M. Parr himself (taken secretly during an exhibition in Paris)
